Visitor in our yard Wednesday

This handsome guy strolled through our yard yesterday morning. I had gone into the kitchen for a second cup of coffee and looked out the window to see this huge turkey standing just at the edge of the driveway. He walked slowly along the edge of the drive and down the other side. As he turned a corner, I noticed a female a little way ahead. Well, it is spring.

  1. We get these in herds and guinea hens too! Doesn't it seem strange to just see them walking along.

  2. I love seeing turkeys in the wild. They look so different than the farm raised birds. My husband and I saw a flock of them the other day.

  4. Don't you love when visitors come a calling?! I haven't seen any turkeys around here but we have a pair of ducks that visit every spring.
